I went to Dr Parker because the enamel on my front tooth was receding. She told me I was not a candidate for the pinhole procedure and instead performed a gum graft from the roof of my mouth. She did this surgery twice on my front tooth and once on a canine tooth (front "fang". She also cut the gum of my right front tooth, I still don't know why as the front left tooth she stitched the gums to is lower. Now, my left front gum has a very noticible scar, the right gumline is higher than the left, the missing enamel is still visible after two surgeries and the canine tooth has a pocket of dead skin cells that leak out like a zit when pressed. GROSS!!
Dr. Parker was to perform another gum graft to a third tooth but I declined as she permanently destroyed my smile and confidence. I am now super self-conscious when I smile and have to cover my mouth, and/or be cognizant of lowering my upper lip to cover my front teeth. If I forget, I am immediately reminded as people stare at my teeth. My young kids have asked what is wrong with my teeth when they talk to me and we all know how kids can be brutally honest.
Dr.Parker has a wonderfully adventurous personality, and a fabulous front office staff.

When I went to have stitches removed, the tech assured me she removed all the stitches but I insisted I felt one more stitch in the roof of my mouth. She adamantly insisted I was feeling the ridge of the roof of my mouth. Having the same mouth for over forty years, I knew what belonged and what did not. I removed the overlooked stitch by myself at home that night, thank you very much.

I imagine for basic dental care Dr. Parker is wonderful but for surgery of a very upfront visible smile correction, seek consult elsewhere. I wish I had.
